MSD 8738 Soft Touch Rev Control for MSD 6-Series

The MSD 8738 Soft Touch Rev Control is approved by IMCA to be used in Northern Sport Mods using a crate engine.  The rpm limit is adjusted with the supplied plug-in modules of 6,000, 7,000 and 8,000 rpm but must be used with the 6,200 rpm chip, 910-12620, to be legal.
This rev limiter is designed exclusively for the MSD 6T, 6TN and 6-HVC Ignition Controls. It has a special 4-wire connector that plugs into the MSD Ignition. The Soft Touch is a very smooth rev limiting action that “holds” the engine at the selected rpm limit without backfires, extreme roughness or engine damage.
Note:  This rev control will *not* work with MSD 6A boxes. It works with MSD 6T, 6TN, and 6HVC boxes only.  The MSD 6A box does not have the correct wiring to use a rev limiter.
