“Double A” Wins Big in Little Texas
This weekend was the first weekend of racing at the Abilene Ice Breaker race. The annual race is held in Abilene, Texas at Abilene Speedway. The turnout was a success with 160 cars present for the two nights over all classes. Classes ran were IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Southern SportMods, IMCA Stock Cars, IMCA Hobby Stocks, Street Stocks, and Jr. Mini Stocks. For one of our Jet Racing drivers though it was a big weekend. Adam “Double A” Armstrong managed to pull out a win in the feature heat round of Hobby Stocks on not just one night, but both nights. However these wins are a big deal for Adam as it is his 100th and 101st career wins. Adam first began racing when he was 14 and has continued to excel and strive for greatness in every race he runs. We send a huge congratulation his way and good luck for the rest of the season!
